FAQs
Q. How will I know if I am able to migrate to Australia?
A. When you complete our online free visa assessment, we will be able to report on your ability to migrate. Please note that our report will be based on the criteria set by D.I.A.C (Department of Immigration and Citizenship). When you answer or enter information on the free visa assessment, please be as clear and concise as possible to ensure that the process is accurate.
Q. Do you have an office in my country?
A. Migration Executive Australia (MEA) is based in Perth, Western Australia. We also have affiliated agents in other parts of the world. However, you can contact us on the Internet from anywhere in the world. Communication via email is much more faster and is quicker for us to respond to you.
Q. What steps will I need to undertake to migrate to Australia?
A. At MEA, we have adapted our service to our clients' budget. This means that we have different packages and depending on which one you prefer or can afford, we will help you. We have a 15- minute telephone consultation package for those who are confident in doing the visa process and only need help with a few dilemmas. We also have a package whereby you can email or fax us your questions and only get charged by each question (conditions apply-please see the package). On our full package, we will make the required arrangements to have your qualifications assessed. On receipt of the positive response from the assessing authority, we will prepare the main submission to D.I.A.C. Then, we will guide and advise you from the time you appoint us, as your agent, to the day your visa is granted.
Q. How can I pay?
A. You can send a money order, bank cheque or telegraphic transfer. Please note that all payments made, need to be in Australian dollars.
Q. How long will my application take?
A. Depending on the case, the average processing time for a skilled visa application is approximately 40 weeks. Other types of visas may take longer. It will take longer if the application is incomplete, failure to respond to us in a sensible manner, if there is missing supporting documents, or the embassy is submersed with work.
Q. How can I find out how my application is going?
A. The Australian visa authority may delay processing and/or apply limit caps to the number of visas granted. When a limit is applied, visa-applications continue to be processed, but, no visas will be granted once the maximum number has been reached. We will keep you informed as much as possible. We understand the stress of waiting.
Q. Can you help me find employment in Australia?
A. When your visa application reaches its final stage, we will give you a free detailed advice about employment, including how to find a job, working conditions and information regarding income tax.
Q. Should I sell my assets once my application is lodged?
A. No. The lodgement of a visa-application does not mean that the visa has been granted. When the application is approved the embassy will allow several months for you to settle your affairs before leaving your present location.
Q. Are you qualified to provide Immigration and Education Advice?
A. MEA is composed of registered migration agent and education consultant. We are also a member of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA). We are also a registered company, our Australian Company Number (A.C.N.) is 128 208 702..
